Future of Health 8 – Healthcare System Resilience
October 15, 2026 at 4:00 pm CET
Invitation to our study presentation
We are pleased to invite you to the presentation of our eighth "Future of Health" study, focusing on the theme: "Healthcare System Resilience".
As healthcare systems face mounting pressures, from pandemics and natural disasters to workforce shortages and demographic change, one question has become impossible to ignore: “How resilient are our healthcare systems today, and what will it take to make them fit for tomorrow?”
This year's study puts a number on the problem. 81% of healthcare leaders say resilience is becoming more important. 3% have a budget for it. Drawing on an extensive review of the literature on health system resilience, combined with an international survey of almost 500 senior stakeholders across policy, payers, providers and producers, we map the stressors straining healthcare systems worldwide, assess how prepared countries really are, identify the capabilities that distinguish leading systems and highlight the capabilities needed to close critical gaps.
The result: Actionable recommendations for governments, hospitals, insurers, and pharma and medtech companies, grounded in global best practices and real stakeholder perspectives.
Join us to explore what it takes to build healthcare systems that don't just survive disruption, but emerge from it stronger.
